Scott Galt has had a love for barbeque since childhood. He started creating sauce at age 16 in 1973, taking ten years to perfect. This recipe was used at family BBQ’s, cookouts, and the annual BBQ Cookoff in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Out of eleven competitions, Scott placed in the Top 10 nine times - including first place. With thoughtful deliberation, The Sauce Company, Inc. organized and the process started in February of '89.
